Independence Day 2009

The first test for my new D300 and Velbon tripod legs was the Independence Day fireworks over Lake Union. Eugene’s roof ended up being pretty much a perfect location, with a nice view of the Space Needle in the background.  Both the camera and tripod work flawlessly   Here’s a few selected photos:
