Victoria BC and Snoqualmie Falls Highlights

Formula D Seattle 2010

Formula D is one of the events I’ve always looked forward to as a photographer every year. I’ve been photographing Formula D since its inaugural event in the Pacific Northwest back in 2006, and it definitely seems to get better and better each year. There was absolutely zero rain this year and while it was definitely hot, it wasn’t quite as hot as the mid-90s/low-100s track side for 2006 and 2007. Independence Day 2010

Just like last year, I spent Independence Day atop Eugene’s apartment building in the U-District of Seattle to watch the fireworks over Lake Union. The weather wasn’t quite as nice as last year’s, but the cloud cover helped reflect some of the light down, making the whole show seem a bit brighter.
