EPIC Engineering prototype springs update photo

One quick pic…I’ve been helping Dan at EPIC Engineering out with testing springs for the 08-09 STI, and I took a quick snap of how it’s looking with the latest prototype rear springs and bumpstops installed.  The car’s actually very dirty, but it didn’t come out in the photo 🙂  I added a little graduated ND filter for some emphasis on the otherwise plain background.

w00t for vertical grip!

My MB-D10 vertical grip came in today.  The camera already feels much more complete than without it.  Nikon definitely did well on the ergonomics of this new grip.  I’ll of course have a more detailed review later on, but until then, here’s a quick photo from my phone:

Independence Day 2009

The first test for my new D300 and Velbon tripod legs was the Independence Day fireworks over Lake Union.
