University Street Fair and Gasworks Park

Last Sunday the 22nd was the University Street Fair, and my friends and I decided go to out and shoot some street photography. I hadn’t done any dedicated street photography for some time now, so it was a welcome change to most of the other types of things I’ve been shooting lately. I only brought my Nikkor 50mm ƒ1.4 and 85mm ƒ1.8 with my D700 and quite honestly, I didn’t miss the zoom at all. There were plenty of things […]

Subie Girls Calendar Winner!

First off, a big congratulations to Erica for making into the 2012 SubieGirls.com Calendar! PROPS! Behind the Scenes Video Shoot

I arrived back from The Philippines (many photos coming soon!) on Monday the 21st after three weeks of vacation, and immediately Berto from Lake City Legends hooked it up with a behind the scenes video shoot for PROPS! on the 25th and his concert the next day.  The video shoot took place at the Century Ballroom on Seattle’s Capitol Hill, which worked perfectly for the Victorian theme they were going for in this video. I won’t go into the concept, […]

Houglum-Alcantara Wedding

My cousin Liezl got married to her long-time boyfriend and I was able to make the wedding on New Year’s Eve, despite the fact that I was originally supposed to be out of town! I wasn’t the hired photographer for this wedding, so I was able to do a little experimentation with lens choices and post-processing. Please let me know what you think after you follow this link on my ArminWeddings.com website for more photos: https://www.arminweddings.com/2011/01/houglum-alcantara-wedding/
