2014 Corolla for Toyota USA

After photographing the new 2014 Tundra and 4Runner for Toyota USA back in August, their PR agency also asked me to photograph the new 2014 Corolla a month later. This time, the photos would be shot at various locations throughout Seattle proper, but the turnaround time again was very fast, requiring finished photos by noon the next day. Again, I rented a Nikon D4 and a Nikkor 85mm ƒ1.4G from BorrowLenses.com for the shoot. As luck would have it, the […]

Hagen and Natalie’s Engagement

Hagen is Garret’s brother, so I was more than happy to take their engagement photos, along with his upcoming wedding as well. Kaylee Alana at Coulon Park

After a couple rain/weather delays, Kaylee and I were finally able to go do some fashion photography on a beautiful summer’s day at Renton’s Coulon Park.  With plenty of assistance from Erica May, Kaylee and I were able to take photos of her in three different outfits, timing it perfectly to end our shoot at sunset.  I took this opportunity to test out my new Nikkor 70-200mm ƒ2.8 VR-II for some portraits, then switched over to the trusty 24-70mm ƒ2.8 […]

We started at Kerry Park and ended up on the Jose Rizal Bridge for the panorama below. I started with the 24-70mm at Kerry Park, but decided to go with the 85mm instead […]

Brianna Shirley at Magnuson Park

Brianna Shirley at Magnuson Park

Four years ago, I took Brianna’s senior portraits and much to my surprise, she hit me up randomly for some new photos. Apparently, she had been using her old photos all this time and never had a chance to get some new ones done. The weather turned out to be absolutely gorgeous here in Seattle this past weekend, so we met up for a quick photoshoot. I switched between my 24-70mm and 85mm the whole time, and although the photos […]
