Erica’s been a great subject to photograph lately, and when she told me that she wanted some photos to show off some Husky pride before the Apple Cup in early December 2010, she didn’t have to ask for my help twice. I finished a few photos first for her use, but wasn’t able to process any more until I finished with some of my other paid gigs. My new D700 worked out great for these photos, although it might be […]
Just like last year, I spent Independence Day atop Eugene’s apartment building in the U-District of Seattle to watch the fireworks over Lake Union. The weather wasn’t quite as nice as last year’s, but the cloud cover helped reflect some of the light down, making the whole show seem a bit brighter. With a good, solid 8 hours of sleep under our belts, it was business as usual starting with photographing the […]
The first test for my new D300 and Velbon tripod legs was the Independence Day fireworks over Lake Union. Eugene’s roof ended up being pretty much a perfect location, with a nice view of the Space Needle in the background. Both the camera and tripod work flawlessly 🙂 Here’s a few selected photos: [smugmug url=”https://verdugo.smugmug.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=gallery&Data=8800354_vsnxA&format=rss200″ imagecount=”100″ start=”6″ num=”4″]
