Wence’s 02 WRX Winter Setup

It’s kind of ironic that today’s the first day of Spring, but this was really the only time we both had time to take some snaps of his winter setup. The area we shot in didn’t have very smooth road and it got dark a lot faster than I expected, but I think the shots still came out okay.  Here are the others: And a couple B&Ws: Wence’s summer setup can be found previously posted here:  https://www.arminausejo.com/2009/07/23/wences-02-wrx-published-on-tunerzine-com/

EPIC Engineering 09 WRX from Alki

With over 600 miles and a couple weeks to let the springs settle, I met up with our tester to take final photos of his 09 WRX with EPIC Engineering springs to show off the drop after the springs have fully settled.  Everything looks great and he’s very happy!  We hope to start selling them very soon.  Here is another photo, along with just a nice simple landscape showing off Seattle’s gorgeous skyline.  It sure doesn’t feel like February here!

EPIC Engineering Springs for 09+ WRX

My work with Dan and EPIC Engineering continues, now in a more formal marketing role.  Along with just taking photos, I’m also more involved in the R&D process and marketing the brand and products on various media, including online forums like NASIOC.  Above is the latest set of lowering springs that we’re testing for the 09+ WRX.  Special thanks to Kevin for allowing us to use his car for testing.  The testing is going very well, as is the reception […]

Project One 5-Year Anniversary

On September 1, 2004, a car show club was started at The Ram in University Village. Born out of the ashes of Team Intrinsic, this car club’s sole purpose was to have a good, familiar group of friends that loved to show off their cars at car shows in an organized team. Founding members Armin H. Ausejo, Wence Estrada, Emily Raforth, Russell Rogers, Sasha Skalatsky, Suzy Spradlin, and Kevin Wise forged “Project One” out of The Ram’s beer sampler, Mongo […]

Formula D Seattle 2009

In its fourth year coming to the greater Seattle area, Formula D returned stronger and more exciting than ever this past Saturday, August 8th. I’ve been covering Formula D for Subiesport/DrivingSports each year it’s come to Seattle, and I honestly do believe it gets better and better every year. In past years, I’ve endured scorching heat (100+ temps on the track) and pouring rain, but this year the overcast weather held up nice and dry, without being too hot or […]
