On September 1, 2004, a car show club was started at The Ram in University Village. Born out of the ashes of Team Intrinsic, this car club’s sole purpose was to have a good, familiar group of friends that loved to show off their cars at car shows in an organized team. Founding members Armin H. Ausejo, Wence Estrada, Emily Raforth, Russell Rogers, Sasha Skalatsky, Suzy Spradlin, and Kevin Wise forged “Project One” out of The Ram’s beer sampler, Mongo […]
Didn’t get to take too many photos since I was busy judging, but I did get to take a few decent ones. This was the 11th year for the West Coast Subaru Show, and I felt that it was a great success! Mad props for Tex and all of the WCSS staff. All the photos: West Coast Subaru Show 11 – Armin H. In its fourth year coming to the greater Seattle area, Formula D returned stronger and more exciting than ever this past Saturday, August 8th. I’ve been covering Formula D for Subiesport/DrivingSports each year it’s come to Seattle, and I honestly do believe it gets better and better every year. This was our second year participating in this great charity show for Habitat for Humanity. I was quite happy to see my team, Project One, take home the Best Team Quality award. Our individual members took home awards as well, including trophies in the 2-door, 4-door, and 5-door classes, as well as the award for Best Wheels. Congrats to all of the winners! A Tweet that I made yesterday seemed to have some people concerned, or at least confused or curious as to what’s going on. Thus, here is the explanation 🙂 As I mentioned in my blog about turning “The Dirty Thirty,” one of the biggest concerns I have as I “grow up” is paying down debts, so that I can buy a house for example. Well, one of the things that was in the way was The Red Car, aka “Blaze.” […]
