Last year, I shot two launch events for Toyota USA, the launch of the new Tundra and 4Runner and the launch of the new Corolla. I must’ve made a great impression, because this year the same agency hired me to shoot the launch event for the new Lexus NX here in Seattle. Unlike the Corolla shoot, which would take place at various touristy areas around Seattle, this time they called for more industrial, gritty locations with some nice scenic backgrounds mixed […]
The final round of the Formula DRIFT 2012 season took place as usual at “The House of Drift” in Irwindale, California. It was an awesome event and I got to meet a bunch of people that I’ve been meaning to meet face-to-face for quite some time. I also rented a Nikon D4 to cover the event (big thanks to BorrowLenses.com) and really put it through its paces, which I’ll review later on. Until then, here are links to all of […]
Last weekend, I took a couple photos immediately following NWMotiv’s inMotion Car Show and Drift Event. It was a favor for my friend Kenji (who owns the white Lexus) and he just wanted a couple quick pics. I’ve been covering Formula D for Subiesport/DrivingSports each year it’s come to Seattle, and I honestly do believe it gets better and better every year. In past years, I’ve endured scorching heat (100+ temps on the track) and pouring rain, but this year the overcast weather held up nice and dry, without being too hot or […]

2014 Year in Review
What a year, 2014 was! I may not have taken as many photos as I had in previous years, but I’d say the quality is up there amongst the best in recent memory. Rather than taking photos of anything and everything, I ended up being a bit more selective for the most part this year, and really took my time. I also spent a good amount of time teaching and tutoring, which was a great experience. Here’s a look back […]
