San Diego, Spring 2013

I had traveled to Southern California on family business back at the end of March, and thus while I did some sightseeing and processed a number of photos, I almost forgot to post them up here on my blog. I hadn’t gone sightseeing around San Diego in years, so I made sure to bring all my necessary equipment with me to make sure they weren’t just touristy snapshots. Special thanks to my friends Craig Reyna and Emmeline Rivera for driving […]

Seattle at Night, June 2012

I had some relatives from North Carolina come for a visit last week, so I took them around the city at night to do a little sightseeing. We started at Kerry Park and ended up on the Jose Rizal Bridge for the panorama below. I started with the 24-70mm at Kerry Park, but decided to go with the 85mm instead […]

University Street Fair and Gasworks Park

Last Sunday the 22nd was the University Street Fair, and my friends and I decided go to out and shoot some street photography. I hadn’t done any dedicated street photography for some time now, so it was a welcome change to most of the other types of things I’ve been shooting lately. I only brought my Nikkor 50mm ƒ1.4 and 85mm ƒ1.8 with my D700 and quite honestly, I didn’t miss the zoom at all. There were plenty of things […]
